Multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix leaves 6 hospitalized, including 4 children

Six people, including four children, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Saturday morning.

PHOENIX – Six people, including four children, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded to the three-vehicle crash near 35th Avenue and Cactus Road, around 10:30 a.m., according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Authorities said a man, a woman and a boy were hospitalized in critical condition. Two boys and a girl were hospitalized with minor injuries, while an additional two people were evaluated at the scene but refused to be taken to the hospital.

The Phoenix Police Department has taken over the investigation into the cause of the crash.
