2 arrests made in case of amorous Scottsdale restaurant burglars
Two people have been arrested for allegedly breaking into the Mon Cheri Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale last month and getting frisky.

PHOENIX – Two people have been arrested for allegedly breaking into the Mon Cheri Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale last month and getting frisky, authorities announced Friday.
Brian H. Morrow, 39, and Corrisa K. Sucanick, 30, were taken into custody a day apart earlier this month, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.
Sucanick was arrested Nov. 3 in Scottsdale and booked into jail on one count of third-degree burglary, police said. Morrow was arrested the next day at a motel in north Phoenix and booked on one count each of third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
None of the charges were related to their alleged sexual activity during the break-in at Mon Cheri Restaurant. That element did not meet the criteria for criminal prosecution, police said.
How did police find alleged Mon Cheri Restaurant burglars?
Morrow and Sucanick are accused of breaking into the restaurant near Indian School Road and Goldwater Boulevard in the early hours of Oct. 25 and stealing money from the cash registers.
They also allegedly had sex inside a rose display designed for guests to take Instagram photos.
Mon Cheri Restaurant posted surveillance camera footage of the suspects to Instagram later that day, asking for help identifying the “love birds.”
“Help.. they violated our roses 🌹 stole cash, liquor & our host phone,” the post said.
Detectives used the break-in video and community tips to identify the suspects before tracking them down.
