Silver Alert canceled after 68-year-old woman who went missing in Phoenix is found

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert issued after a missing Phoenix woman was found on Thursday.

The Phoenix Police Department said the alert was canceled as Dinah Nyiramasaka, 68, had been found and reunited with her family.

No other details were released.

Nyiramasaka was reported missing after she was last seen on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at her apartment near 38th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to the initial alert, which was issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Nyiramasaka is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 106 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  Authorities said she was wearing an African, multicolored dress.

Nyiramasaka has a medical condition that can cause her to become easily confused, according to the alert.
