Silver Alert in Mesa canceled after 85-year-old man with dementia is found
A Silver Alert for 85-year-old Ascencion Olea-Torres was canceled on Wednesday night, nearly 12 hours after the alert was issued.

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert for 85-year-old Ascencion Olea-Torres was canceled on Wednesday night, nearly 12 hours after the alert was issued.
He was found safe and in good health around 7:39 p.m. on Wednesday.
Ascencion Olea-Torres was last seen in the area of Alma School Road and Main Street when the alert was issued around 7:12 a.m., DPS said.
Olea-Torres is 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs 140 pounds. He wears prescription glasses and was last seen wearing black pants and a white, short-sleeved shirt and white socks.
He left his residence on foot and was seen carrying a plastic grocery bag, DPS said.
The initial Silver Alert issued by DPS said Olea-Torres suffers from dementia.

It will only happen again and again until his caregivers are charged crininally, and he's in a nursing home. If he doesnt know where he is, it doesnt matter anyway, and the public is safe. Lets not wait until he's naked on the 60 with an ice cream scoop and a stuffed animal.
