1-year-old dies at hospital after being found in Goodyear pool

An infant died at a nearby hospital after they were reportedly found in a Goodyear pool, authorities said.

PHOENIX — An infant died at a nearby hospital after they were reportedly found in a Goodyear pool, authorities said.

Goodyear police responded to the area near Van Buren and Dysart roads around 4:45 p.m.

Authorities located the 1-year-old child, who was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
