Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods and 2 other stores announce new locations in Buckeye

Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods and two other major retailers will be opening new locations at the Buckeye Commons shopping center.

PHOENIX — Buckeye will welcome four major retailers to a new shopping center and one of them is opening its first location in the city.

Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Five Below and Barnes & Noble have all agreed to open locations at the Buckeye Commons shopping center, according to a media release Wednesday from the center’s developer, Sunbelt Investment Holdings.

The 440,000-square-foot shopping center is located on the east side of Verrado Way, just south of Interstate 10.

It is anchored by a Costco warehouse that opened in July 2023.

The new Home Depot, which will be the home improvement retailer’s first location in Buckeye, will open on an 11.5-acre parcel.

All of the new stores are expected to open in early 2026.

What stores can be found at Buckeye Commons?

A groundbreaking was also recently held at Buckeye Commons for new Panera and Starbucks locations.

Other businesses that can either already be found or will open soon in the shopping center include:

  • Sleep Number
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes
  • Over Easy
  • Jimmy John’s
  • Playa Bowls
  • State Farm Insurance
  • DIP Nail Bar
  • Credit Union West
  • The Joint Chiropractic
  • Red Wing Shoes

Sleep Number and Nothing Bundt Cakes are already open. The other listed businesses are expected to open by the end of August.
