Fry’s Food Stores opening new grocery store in West Valley

PHOENIX — Attention, shoppers: A new Fry’s Marketplace store is opening in Buckeye next month.

The new location will open on Aug. 29 and will be located at 4625 S. Miller Road.

Fry’s has 130 grocery stores across 34 cities in Arizona.

President of Fry’s Food Stores Monica Garnes said she’s excited to expand the brand’s presence in the Valley.

“All of our associates at the new store are looking forward to connecting with our new neighbors in Buckeye,” Garnes said in a Tuesday announcement. “Not only will our customers find fresh, affordable food, but they will also find some of the friendliest and caring associates who are ready to meet their everyday needs.”

The 126,000-square-foot grocery store will have a 24-hour, 18-pump fuel center, a pharmacy with a drive-thru, Starbucks and more. It will also provide pickup services.

Shoppers can also visit the wine and cheese sections, the sushi station, a housewares department and an area with apparel.
