Man, 2 juveniles arrested nearly a month after Scottsdale double homicide

An 18-year-old and two minors have been arrested in connection with a Scottsdale double homicide in late June.

PHOENIX — An 18-year-old and two juveniles were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a double homicide in Scottsdale in late June, authorities said.

Scottsdale police said Lebron Rogers, 18, and the two juveniles are now accused of killing Ramon Moraga, 20, and Nadia Mysliwiec, 21, who were shot while in a car.

The shooting happened at about 9:45 p.m. on June 30, near 114th Street and Shea Boulevard.

Police were called after multiple people reported hearing gunshots.

At the scene, officers found a car that had crashed into a ditch. Moraga and Mysliwiec were found inside the car and were suffering from gunshot wounds.

Moraga died at the scene. Mysliwiec was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died.

How were arrests made in Scottsdale double homicide?

On Tuesday morning, nearly a month after the shooting, Scottsdale police partnered with multiple other agencies to serve search warrants in this case.

Rogers was found at a home in Phoenix and was taken into custody by the Scottsdale Special Assignments Unit. Police were able to find information linking Rogers and the juveniles to the shooting at this location.

The two other suspects were found at a home in Glendale.

Rogers is facing two counts of murder and two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon.

The two minors are being held by juvenile court and are facing the same charges as Rogers.
