Police ask for public’s help with double-homicide in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public’s help with a double-homicide that happened Monday night.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 115th Street and Sahuaro Drive around 9:50 p.m. after multiple 911 calls regarding the sound of gunshots.

When police arrived on scene, they found a vehicle crashed into a ditch with Ramon Moraga, 20, and Nadia Mysliwiec, 21, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Moraga died at the scene. Mysliwiec was taken to the hospital where she later died of her injuries.

Scottsdale police believe the double-homicide was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
