Child in serious condition at hospital after being pulled from Scottsdale community pool

PHOENIX — A child was hospitalized after they were pulled from a Scottsdale pool on Friday, the Scottsdale Police Department said.

Scottsdale police and fire authorities located the child at a community pool near Thompson Peak Parkway and McDowell Mountain Ranch Road in the Westworld area, where they had been found unresponsive.

The child was in serious condition when taken to a nearby hospital, according to authorities.

No other details were immediately available.
