PHOENIX — Westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix reopened after it was closed Saturday morning for a crash, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced.

The crash occurred before 7 a.m., and traffic was initially able to get by on the right side. A full closure at 43rd Avenue was announced at 7:42 a.m.

The westbound side of I-10 reopened around 9:35 a.m.

DPS officials have said serious injuries resulted from the crash, ABC15 reported.
