PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Sunday for a 91-year-old woman last seen in Cave Creek on Friday who has recently showed signs of dementia.
When the alert was first issued, Winifred Hover, known as “Fritsy,” was last seen at her home located at 28002 N. 42nd Street at about 5 p.m.
Hover recently said she wanted to go back to Minnesota, even though she has not driven a car in five years, authorities said.
Her vehicle is a white 2016 Honda CR-V with an Arizona license plate that reads BZF9400.
Hover is about 5-foot-4 and 145 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a blue and white polo shirt and jeans, according to authorities.
No other details about the case were made available.
