Slick City Action Park in Scottsdale now open

Slick City Action Park, a 50,000 square-foot indoor dry slide park, is now open in Scottsdale in the Pavilions at Talking Stick Shopping Center.

PHOENIX — Slick City Action Park, a 50,000 square-foot indoor dry slide park, is now open in Scottsdale.

The park features 13 dry slides, three air courts for basketball and dodgeball, a swing, a trapeze, a zipline and a junior jungle and web crawler play area for kids ages 5 and under.

It is located in the Pavilions at Talking Stick Shopping Center at 9189 E. Talking Stick Way.

“The Scottsdale location is a testament to our commitment to creating fun, dynamic spaces that revitalize older real estate,” founder and CEO of Slick City Action Parks Bron Launsby said in press release.

Tickets can be purchased for 90- or 120-minute sessions online or onsite at the park.

Slick City was founded in 2021 and also has locations in Peoria, Chandler and Queen Creek. In addition to the opening of the Scottsdale location, there are two more parks expected to open in 2025.

The new park is part of the brand’s $12 million investment in the Grand Canyon State.

Slick City has connections to Arizona as its manufacturing arm, Slick Slide LLC, is based in Phoenix and was founded by Arizona resident Gary Schmidt.

The company repurposes second or third-generation commercial spaces for its locations.

It expects to hire 450 people in Arizona by the end of the year.
