CBP agent arrested in Arizona on suspicion of having sexual relations with teen

PHOENIX — A U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent was arrested Monday in Arizona on suspicion of having sexual relations with a minor, authorities announced.

The Yuma Police Department said it received information from the CBP Office of Professional Responsibility last week regarding allegations against one of the federal agency’s employees.

Investigators developed probable cause to arrest 31-year-old Ramon Marquez for sexual conduct with a 16-year-old girl he knew, police said.

Marquez was taken into custody Monday morning in the Yuma suburb of Wellton and booked into jail on multiple felony counts.
