Police identify victim and arrest suspect in fatal central Phoenix stabbing
Investigators identified the victim and arrested a suspect in a central Phoenix fatal stabbing that took place Wednesday night.

PHOENIX — Investigators identified the victim and arrested a suspect in a central Phoenix fatal stabbing that took place Wednesday night, authorities said.
At around 8 a.m., police responded to a call at a park near Central Avenue and McDowell Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon arrival, they found 23-year-old Kapwo Samo with a stab wound. Samo was taken to the hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
Homicide detectives took over the case and determined that Samo was stabbed by 30-year-old Randy Webb. Webb admitted to stabbing Samo and was arrested on Thursday, authorities said.
Webb was booked and charged with murder charges. Authorities said he is considered to be the only suspect.
