PHOENIX — Cornerstone Healing Center, a mental health and substance abuse treatment center, has opened two new housing facilities in Glendale.
The two houses have been specially constructed to support patients during their healing process as they make their recoveries and overcome addiction.
One facility will be for women’s housing and will hold nine beds, while the other facility will be for men and will have 12 beds.
Both facilities offer large rooms designed with group therapy and connection in mind.
Patients part of an intensive outpatient program may live in the facilities at no additional cost. Cornerstone’s programs meet 4-5 days per week and the company accepts most insurances including AHCCCS, Cigna, UMR, Aetna, GEHA, BlueCross BlueShield and TriCare.
“We’ve found that recovery is most successful when individuals have a stable and supportive environment,” Estil Wallace, founder and CEO of Cornerstone Healing Center, said in a press release.
“Our new housing facilities will provide a safe space for patients to heal, at no extra cost. By removing housing as a barrier to treatment, we hope to give our patients the best chance at recovery and build a strong foundation for lasting change.”
