Downtown Mesa to host beer, Blues and food festival on March 12

PHOENIX — The Downtown Mesa Association (DMA) will host the first ever Tap Into Mesa event which will showcase local breweries on March 12.

The new festival the features brews, live Blues music and food trucks from 2-6:30 p.m. at Main Street and Macdonald in downtown Mesa and will be open to the public.

Mesa is home to the most downtown breweries in the Valley, according to a press release.

“We really want to show people just how many walkable breweries we have in this one square-mile,” President of the DMA Nancy Hormann said. “All of the breweries you will visit at this event call Downtown Mesa their home.”

The festival will have a Main Stage Beer Garden that offers full pours from local breweries for $5 each. A general tasting ticket will also be offered for $25 which includes 10 tastes.

The Sugar Thieves and Chicago Style Blues Band will be at the event performing live Blues music for festival-goers.
