Tacos, tamales and tequila to be featured at Scottsdale festival in April

PHOENIX — Tacos, tamales, tequila and more will be featured at a festival in Scottsdale this spring.

Taco Fest will be held at Salt River Fields on April 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early bird admission tickets went on sale this week for $8, while VIP tickets are $40.

On Jan. 27, regular tickets will go up to $12 and VIP tickets will double to $80.

VIP tickets include seven food tokens, five drinks at the lounge, exclusive access to the lounge and one water or soda.

There are also $20 tequila tasting tickets available, which include 10 samples.

Children 12 and under can get in to the festival for free.

Vendors will offer a wide variety of $3 tacos and savory and sweet tamales.

Along with the food and drinks, there will be tango lessons, a tiny dog beauty pageant, lucha libre wrestling, stilt walkers, clowns and more.
