PHOENIX — Breakfast lovers in downtown Phoenix are getting an extra Christmas present this year.

Denver-based Snooze: an A.M. Eatery plans to open the doors of its sixth Valley restaurant Dec. 27.

The location will be known as Snooze Circles Records, a nod to the record store near Central Avenue and McKinley Street that closed in 2010 and is now the site of an $80 million mixed-use development called The Stewart.

Snooze will set up in a 4,000-square-foot space in The Stewart and be open everyday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The 19-story development also features luxury apartments, a rooftop pool on the 18th floor, an eighth-floor outdoor courtyard, bicycle storage and on-site car wash service.

In the spirit of the record store that used to be there, the floor plans are named after legendary musical acts, including the Bowie one-bedroom, Nicks two-bedroom and Van Halen studio.

For those not wanting to venture downtown, Snooze has five other Valley spots: Ahwatukee, midtown Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale and Gilbert.

We want to hear from you.
