PHOENIX – The Stones are ready to roll.

With lead singer Mick Jagger on the mend, the Rolling Stones have rescheduled their postponed North American tour, including a show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

The legendary rockers will hit the Valley on Aug. 26, the band announced Thursday.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were originally set to perform in Glendale on May 7, but the tour was put on hold because the 75-year-old Jagger needed surgery to replace a heart valve.

All tickets purchased for the first date are good for the new one. Refunds are available through Ticketmaster, but only for the original buyer – not for tickets that have been transferred.

Seats remain available and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

On Wednesday, Jagger provided evidence that he got what he needed from the surgery, posting video showing off his famous moves in what appears to be a dance studio.

The rescheduled stadium tour begins July 21 in Chicago and concludes Aug. 31 in Miami, the only date after the Arizona performance.

It’s a continuation of the band’s No Filter tour, which has already been to Europe.

Past shows on the tour have included many of the band’s signature tunes, including “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Sympathy for the Devil,” “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and “Paint It Black,” as well as deeper cuts from the Stones’ fathoms-deep catalog.

According to Setlist.FM, the Stones last played in Arizona in 2006, at the same venue when it was known as University of Phoenix Stadium.

We want to hear from you.
