PHOENIX – A new bowling experience is coming to Scottsdale this weekend.

The Brunswick Zone at Via Linda and 90th Street has been completely revamped and rebranded as the Valley’s seventh Bowlero location.

The 30,000-square-foot venue will hold a grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with one free game of bowling and free $5 arcade cards available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 40-lane facility was redesigned from a fluorescent-lit alley into an entertainment center with vintage light fixtures, wall graphics and a new sports bar.

It also has an arcade with games such as World’s Largest Pac-Man, Sink It, air hockey and billiards.

Bowlero Corporation, which was created when Bowlmor and AMF merged in 2013, is the world’s largest bowling operator, with more than 300 locations in North America.

It acquired Brunswick’s bowling center business in 2014.

We want to hear from you.
