Flying high: Wife surprises husband with pregnancy announcement on plane

Mar 6, 2016, 3:33 PM

Here's a MUST WATCH! A few weeks ago, my husband Eric Sadiwnyk got quite the surprise on our returning flight from Las Vegas. There aren't enough Thank You's for the crew of American Airlines Flight 607 (1/13/16) with service from Las Vegas to Philadelphia. You all helped me to pull this off seamlessly! I'm hoping if this video makes it around the internet a bit, I may be able to find the crew and Thank them again! I'll also be sending a copy to American Airlines Customer Relations. I love you Eric Sadiwnyk!

One wife decided to do something special for her husband and took her pregnancy announcement to the sky — literally.

Lisa Sadiwnyk from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, wanted to put a unique spin on the traditional baby announcement for her husband Eric, so she took advantage of the couple’s vacation to Las Vegas and declared their jackpot win.

She didn’t do it alone: Lisa wrote the good news on a note, which she passed to a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 607 to pass on to the pilot, who read it aloud during takeoff instructions.

The Facebook video of the announcement has garnered national attention and has been viewed more than 700,000 times since February.

“You all helped me to pull this off seamlessly!” the Facebook post read. “I’m hoping if this video makes it around the internet a bit, I may be able to find the crew and Thank them again!”

Congratulations to the happy couple and the growth of their new family!
