If you’re thinking about finally shelving that 9-to-five job and settling down, there are few better places to do just that than Scottsdale, Arizona.
Financial website WalletHub.com has ranked the city just second to Tampa, Florida among the top spots to retire in the country.
With weather, affordability, activities and quality of life well-represented, Scottsdale and the other top-ranked cities on the WalletHub list stood out for being the most “retirement-friendly” among the 150 cities examined for the study.
Scottsdale also ranked first in the country for the percentage of residents 65 and older among cities with populations of 100,000 or more.
Also cracking the top 10 on the overall list of retirement-friendly cities is Arizona’s own Peoria at No. 10.
