Calm yourself, East Coasters: You'll no longer have to fly home to get a taste of Shake Shack.
PHOENIX — Calm yourself, East Coasters: You’ll no longer have to fly home to get a taste of Shake Shack.
The New York-based fast food chain will open its doors next year at Scottsdale Fashion Square, according to a recent press release.
The Scottsdale location will be the first in the state for the restaurant and will occupy the former space of Sam Fox’s Modern Steak.
The location, which will be built using recycled and sustainable materials, will feature Shack classics, including the ShackBurger, hot dogs and frozen custard. The company also plans on including an outdoor patio at the Scottsdale location.
The company went public earlier this year and has 40 locations in 12 states and several locations in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
If you can’t wait until 2016 to get your fix, Shake Shack has locations in Austin, Texas and Las Vegas and has announced plans for a Los Angeles location.
