Smash Mouth set to headline Goodyear music festival

PHOENIX — Twenty-five years ago, they spoke out and they broke out.

And now, Smash Mouth is headlining the Goodyear Lakeside Music Fest (GLMFest) on Saturday.

From 4 to 9 p.m., the seventh annual GLMFest at Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater will feature five bands — all from different genres — with the ’90s pop group set to shut down the festival starting at 8 p.m.

“The live musical performances at the Lakeside Music Fest are always spectacular,” Goodyear Mayor Georgia Lord said in a press release. “I’m excited to see and hear the entertainment lineup this year, it’s sure to be a hit!”

In addition to the tunes, event-goes can enjoy food trucks, a kids zone and beer and wine tents.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
