Celebrate National Doughnut Day with Valley’s most drool-inducing treats

PHOENIX – Sometimes, nothing can fill that hole in your stomach better than a sweet treat with a hole in the middle. That’s why on Friday we celebrate National Doughnut Day.

Yes, Homer Simpson’s favorite baked good has its own day in the spotlight.

And if think doughnuts deserve to be feted more than one day a year, you’re in luck. The Downtown Doughnut Festival is returning to Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix for a second year on Nov. 24.
