PHOENIX — With the month of February upon us and the sale of Girl Scout Cookies in full effect, restaurants around Arizona are attempting to create a dessert using one of the iconic Girl Scout Cookie flavors.

For the entire month of February, 24 restaurants from northern and central Arizona will compete in the fifth annual Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge against one another, utilizing the cookies’ flavors to try to sell the most desserts by Feb. 28.

The organization even provided a map of all the participating locations in Arizona with information of the dessert featured at each location.

The best part?

A portion of the winnings from all the desserts sold will go toward supporting the Girl Scouts.

Dessert enthusiasts can get in the action by trying the various desserts and posting their thoughts and photos using #DessertChallenge and #GirlScoutAz on social media platforms.

For more information on the event, visit the organization’s website.

We want to hear from you.
