Main Street Minute: Two Arizona hospitals win grants to fight cancer

• A new study shows Barrett-Jackson Auction Company provides an annual economic boost of nearly $170 million to the local economy. More than 350,000 people from the U.S. and more than 15 countries visited the event this January.
• Phoenix Children’s Hospital is getting $50,000 to help kids battling cancer. It’s part of a $900,000 nationwide grant from Hyundai that’s benefiting more than a dozen other hospitals.
• The University of Arizona Cancer Center was just awarded a five-year grant of $17.6 million from the National Cancer Institute to help prevent and treat the disease. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Arizona.
