"The lasting impact": Campaign speaks out after Bernadette Greene Placentia's absence
Democratic Candidate for CD8 Bernadette Greene Placentia planned to appear today at an event hosted by U.S. Representative Yassamin Ansari and the Democratic Women's Caucus that condemns the sexual assault of Greene-Placentia that happened earlier this year. She was not present however, and Isaiah Lopez with her campaign tells the crowd she "had every intention of being here this morning", but says that she needed some private time. He adds that Arizona is among the states with the highest rates of sexual assault and domestic violence in the country.
