Special Delivery: Sprint will now bring your new phone to you

No more waiting in long lines for Sprint customers in Phoenix.

The major phone carrier announced that starting next week, customers can schedule an appointment for a Sprint representative to come to them in a branded Fiat 500, bring a new phone and transfer data from the old one, according to a report in Phoenix Business Journal.

The service, called Direct 2 You, is the first of its kind in the cell phone business. It will be rolled out Monday in Orlando, St. Louis, Minneapolis/St, Paul, San Antonio and Seattle as well as Phoenix. Next month it will be launched in Las Vegas, New Orleans and Charlotte, North Carolina.
