Southwest pilots take the highway to the Danger Zone

Flying can be nerve-racking for a myriad of reasons, so it’s always nice when you have a pilot and co-pilot who can put a smile on your face to get things started.

A YouTube video surfaced this week from a takeoff out of Houston where the pilots played the famous “Top Gun” track, “Danger Zone” and pretended to be Goose and Maverick.

The pilot on the loudspeaker pulled out of the joke just after giving orders for a barrel roll. Too bad, man that would have been cool.
