Poor Lincoln Chafee can’t catch a break (VIDEO)

The front-runner for the Democratic nomination has been so clear, people didn’t even bother to learn how to pronounce the other candidates’ names.

Lincoln Chafee, former Rhode Island governor and senator dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary Friday after being dismissed in the debate, polling at zero in two separate polls and being the subject of a gag promotion by Conan O’Brien.

To add insult to injury, as he was introduced to the Democratic National Committee’s Forum on Women’s Leadership, where he planned on officially dropping out, his name was mispronounced.

Lincoln “Chah-fee” was how the host welcomed him to the stage. The former candidate pronounces it “Chay-fee.”

Ouch.
