The Internet is coming to the rescue of one Kalamazoo, Mich. boy.

According to The Daily Mail, a woman named Jennifer created a Facebook page for her son, Colin, who said he didn’t want to celebrate his 11th birthday with a party because he doesn’t have any friends.

‘We were talking about his birthday coming up and I had mentioned it a few times and he said he didn’t want a party. And I said, “Why don’t you want a party?”‘ Jennifer told Wood TV.

‘Mom, who am I going to invite? I don’t have any friends,’ Colin responded.

After she heard that, Jennifer set out to make sure Colin, who has a disorder similar to autism, felt loved. She launched a Facebook page in hopes of getting 50 or so responses to surprise Colin with on the big day, March 6.

But he’s in for a much, much bigger surprise: The page has more than 190,000 likes and is growing by the minute. People around the world, Arizona included, have begun sending birthday cards for Colin to an address posted on the page.

The best part? Colin still has no idea the idea exists. Jennifer plans to show him the page and cards on his birthday and record his reaction.
