Man shot in Valley road rage incident

An apparent road rage incident between two vehicles led to one person being shot Wednesday evening in Peoria.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was struck in the arm by a bullet.

Happy Valley road between 67th and 71st avenues was closed while police investigated.

Police did not immediately know what caused the incident and had not confirmed any arrests. The shooter called 911 and stayed at the scene until police arrived.
