• Halloween is over and you can score some extra cash for your leftover candy. J Philipp Dentistry in Gilbert is hosing its annual buyback program on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its office near Gilbert and Queen Creek roads. The going rate is $2 per pound.
• A local digital marketing company has new international owners. The Phoenix Business Journal reports U.K.-based Investis just acquired Zog Digital of Phoenix. Investis has more than 500 employees worldwide, while Zog has a little more than 50.
• Gila River Hotels and Casinos is looking to fill more than 100 positions at a hiring event Thursday. They’re looking for attendants, security officers, bartenders, cooks and more. The job fair runs from 8 a.m. until noon at Vee Quiva Hotel and Casino near 51st Avenue and Pecos Road.
