Main Street Minute: Pizzeria trading turkey donations for desserts

• A local pizzeria is teaming up with St. Mary’s Food Bank for turkey. Through Nov. 15, Spinato’s is giving away free desserts to anyone who donates $10 to St. Mary’s as part of its turkey drive for Thanksgiving. The deal is good at all five Spinato’s Valley locations.

• The official groundbreaking of Topgolf Glendale took place Wednesday morning. The ceremony began at 9 a.m. near 99th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The 65,000-square-foot venue was scheduled to open late next year.

• The DEA, DBI, Arizona Army National Guard, GoDaddy and Golf Academy were just some of the employers taking part in a big job fair in north Phoenix on Wednesday. Everyone is welcome, but veterans were especially encouraged to attend. The fair runs 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel near Interstate 17 and Peoria Avenue.
