Main Street Minute: Phoenix-area school district hiring, moviehouse opening
A school district in the West Valley is hiring for a variety of positions and a unique moviehouse is opening in the East Valley.

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• The Dysart Unified School District is hosting a hiring event Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Available positions range from paraprofessionals to bus drivers, bus aides and child care positions. The job fair is taking place at the district’s support services facility near Peoria Avenue and Litchfield Road.
• Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will open its first location in the state Friday in the East Valley. The Chandler location near Chandler Heights Road and Arizona Avenue includes nine screens and a lobby bar that will serve local craft beers.
• The Best Western Plus Chandler Hotel and Suites has opened. The hotel features 42 guest rooms, 45 suites, 43-inch flat-screen TVs, complimentary hot breakfast and a heated indoor pool. The hotel is near Interstate 10 and Loop 202.
