Free runner James Kingston films climb down from crane

Free runner James Kingston has made a name for himself by doing scary things — namely, climbing tall things.

His most recent video may not be as artsy ashanging on the Wembley Arch or using a selfie-stick on a super tall structure in Dubai, but it gives a more realistic sense of the frightening challenges Kingston takes on.

Kingston filmed an entire climb down from a crane.

Uncut, the video gives a view of the surrounding city and perspective of how high above the ground Kingston starts his descent. It doesn’t hurt, for the sake of context, that his mic is catching the sound of the wind whipping past, nor that Kingston gives a running commentary on how to climb down the crane. It’s physically not that hard, he claims.

“I also need the toilet,” Kingston says, before making his descent.
