Hit play: Here are the most popular YouTube videos of 2016

One of the best ways to sum up a year is to take a look back at what everyone was talking about.

And one of the best ways to do that is to go back and look at the most-watched videos on YouTube of the past year. After all, how many times did you hear the phrase “Hey, did you see that YouTube video?” over the past 12 months?
