Going out to watch the Super Bowl? What’s wrong with home?
While most people are trying to finalize details for the big Super Bowl party they're heading to Sunday, one blog is asking, "Why not stay home?"
While most people are trying to finalize details for the big Super Bowl party they’re heading to Sunday, one blog is asking, “Why not stay home?”
The blog, published by ABC News, is written from the standpoint of a New Yorker, but there are things that apply to those of us in warmer weather:
Going to a party, a bar or the game itself costs money, so why not stay home on the couch and enjoy? After all, we all like saving some dough and there’s no risk of running into the creepy guy from accounting, the drunk fan who wants to tell you about why his wife hates him or even traffic! Plus, you always know where the bathroom is and there’s no line.
Let’s be honest for a second: No one likes getting out of their pajamas. Why would you shower, get ready and go sit somewhere in jeans when you can be in PJs at home? Lazy Sunday, anyone?
Food is expensive! You already have plenty in your fridge and pantry, so why in the world are you going to leave your house and pay more? Plus, you know you make the best nachos.
