Faith in Humanity: Maggie’s Place gives struggling pregnant women a home

The mission statement of Phoenix nonprofit Maggie’s Place states:

Maggie’s Place provides houses of hospitality and ongoing support to help pregnant and parenting women in need reach their goals, and welcomes them into a community filled with love and dignity.

Opening in 2000 in a downtown Phoenix bungalow, the group has since been able to buy apartment complexes and open homes in Tempe, Glendale and even out of state (near Cleveland, Ohio).

Maggie’s Place accepts donations online.
