Faith in Humanity: Fun run being held to raise cancer research funds

The fight against cancer is seemingly never-ending, meaning the constant need for research funds is ever-present.

From fundraisers to fun runs, people are always raising money to battle back against cancer. A local group is hosting one of the latter on Oct. 3 at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix at 8:30 a.m.

The AZ Cancer Village 5K Fun Run pairs live music, food trucks and exercise to raise money for nonprofit cancer support programs.
