Eighty-six-year-old man gets his first peak at an Airbus A380
For 86-year-old Mr. Van Dam, a trip to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol ended his first peak at an Airbus A380
There’s a first time for everything, even if you’ve spent 86 years on planet Earth. For 86-year-old Mr. Van Dam, a trip to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol ended with quite the surprise.
An avid aircraft enthusiast and former employee at Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker, Mr. Van Dam arrived at the airport with the intention of doing a bit of plane spotting. What he received, however, was an up close and personal view of the Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger airliner and an aircraft that was built after Van Dam’s retirement.
