PHOENIX– Allegiant and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport have partnered to offer new low-cost flights to the Valley of the Sun for potential tourists from Fresno, California, Memphis, Tennessee and Des Moines, Iowa.
Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning, is hopeful people will take this opportunity to visit Phoenix on a cost-efficient flight.
“We’re confident that local travelers will take advantage of this new service, launching just in time for a warm winter escape and we look forward to bringing even more visitors and economic growth to the area.”
Tickets start as low as $49, and must be purchased by Dec. 21.
Allegiant’s new low fare service is projected to bring over 100,000 additional visitors to Arizona.
The Valley of the Sun continues to be a prime destination for snow birds, and Allegiant’s new flight plan could be the start of many more to come.
