PHOENIX — Things will be getting a little “Fast and Furious” at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale: Actor Frankie Muniz will sell a car used in the first film of the franchise.

The customized 1995 Volkswagen Jetta was listed on the auto auction’s website. According to the listing, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter engine and has not been altered since appearing in the film.

It has a Playstation 2, DVD player and VCR inside and was signed by director Rob Cohen, actor Chad Lindberg — whose character, Jesse, drove the car in the film — and the late star of the series, Paul Walker.

Muniz, a Scottsdale resident, bought the car in 2002 when he was just 16. Then the star of “Malcolm in the Middle,” he reportedly paid $100,000 to get the keys.

“The car came like crazy…loaded with stuff in it,” Muniz told Entertainment Weekly at the time. “I don’t even know what half of it does.”

The car does not have a reserve price set, but we don’t see this one going for cheap.

The auction runs from Jan. 23 to Jan. 31. The Jetta joins another famous big-screen ride: A rare Pontiac Trans Am that was featured in the 1977 film “Smokey and the Bandit,” will be sold at the same auction.
