Visitors to a Chandler restaurant can get Star Wars food this Friday.
Wimpys Paradise is putting together the promotion the same day as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” hits theaters. Some of the items on the menu include the Darth Vader dog, the Chewbacca Chili and the Hans Solo burger.
Owner Randy Walters, who has never seen the movies, said he is still familiar with the series and is excited to debut the Star Wars menu.
“I like having fun with my menu,” Walters said. “I like to be very topical and relevant, and I thought this is probably the biggest premiere of a movie in the history of movies.”
But if you want to bite into a Yoda burger, you have a limited time to do so.
“I think it’s going to be a lot of fun Friday, cause it’s only for the one day we’re offering the special menu,” Walters said.
The Star Wars promo runs from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, but Walters said if you bring in your Star Wars ticket stub, you can get 20 percent off breakfast on Sundays.
