PHOENIX — An inmate serving a life sentence was found dead in his cell Monday, the Arizona Department of Corrections said.
It is believed that Todd Hoke, 22, committed suicide.
Todd Hoke was imprisoned in 2010 after being convicted of the 2007 murder of 17-year-old Amber Hess.
Hoke was found guilty of first-degree murder for killing Hess and leaving her burned body in a desert area near Florence, Ariz.
Hoke’s death is under investigation.
