Arizona highway patrol investigating 4 shootings along Interstate 10

PHOENIX — The Arizona highway patrol is searching for suspects and motive for four shootings along Interstate 10 in Phoenix over the weekend.
One person suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.

“We’ve had bullets hit the side of the car, we’ve had bullets hit the windshield,” Arizona Department of Public Safety Director Frank Milstead said Monday.
Two shootings were on eastbound lanes between 19th and 59th avenues on Saturday morning between 11-11:30 a.m. A third attack happened around 10:15 p.m. on eastbound lanes near the 16th Street exit. The fourth shooting was about 4:25 a.m. Monday.
Authorities haven’t said whether they believe the attacks are related.
