Phoenix-based Red Development has announced plans to renovate Biltmore Fashion Park, which the company acquired earlier this year.

Red Development, which already owned part of the long-running outdoor retail center on the northeast corner of 24th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, fully acquired the center in July from Macerich Co. (NYSE: MAC) for $110 million.

Now the developer is signing on new tenants, adding new programming for the center and making plans for extensive renovations and additions.

The redevelopment will turn the property into a “vibrant mixed-use destination,” including an upscale hotel, new residential offerings and more office space. The redevelopment is expected to start towards the end of 2025, a Red spokeswoman confirmed to the Business Journal.

The total cost and the exact plans of the renovations have not been made public.
