PHOENIX — A developer purchased a 9.73-acre site in Queen Creek that will be converted into an RV, boat and self-storage facility.

The land located near Rittenhouse and Germann roads was purchased for $4.35 million and is ready for immediate construction.

“While many developers have delayed new projects, this site stands to benefit from strong demand for institutional-quality RV/boat and self-storage facilities, particularly in the growing community of Cortina, a master-planned development by Fulton Homes,” Executive Managing Director Denise Nunez said in a press release.

What will the Queen Creek site feature?

The site features 149,115 net rentable square feet (NRSF) and will house 595 total units of self-storage, RV and boat parking options including:

· 71 drive-up units

· 214 units that are climate-controlled

· 49 RV parking spaces that are fully enclosed

· 206 RV parking spaces that are covered

· 55 parking spaces that are open
